I started this as a project for my own sister, writing her a love note each day from the moment she decided she wanted to start a family so that she would always feel loved and supported and never alone on the crazy, beautiful journey that is motherhood.
However, I know there is a whole world of women out there that need this love too and so I decided to post these notes/letters for all mothers to read and share through this blog – www.notesformysisters.com.
My aim is to encourage new and existing mamas to use blogging / journalling/sharing their emotions as a way to avoid feeling like they are losing themselves in motherhood and to ensure that #nomotherwalksalone while on this journey.
Post Natal Depression is at an all time high and it’s time to shower ALL mothers with love and reassurance, but especially for those of us who have already experienced the ups and down to be there for new mums at the most vulnerable times of their journey.

There is no ongoing commitment and you can submit just the one love note or write and submit as and when your heart feels called to share.
The only prerequisite is you need to be a Mama willing to share your truth in a loving and positive way.No other experience needed. Although if you have a blog/business you would like to add in the author bio, I would love to support your work. Equally, anonymous posts are also welcome.
